A new radio show is about to hit the air waves in Juneau County. Local Frequencies will bring about some much needed attention to musical talent in central and south central Wisconsin.
The half hour weekly show is co-hosted by two young and extremely gifted musicians who call Mauston, WIsconsin home. Bree Morgan is just 21 years old and has been singing professionally for just over a year. Bree was with a country band, Exit 69, and now currently is the lead singer of Shades of Blues a band that brings new life to past rock and blues songs. The band also has some originals.
When not singing with Shades of Blues, Bree performs an acoustic set with her Local Frequencies co-host, Kyle Roberts. Kyle also happens to be the lead guitarist for Shades of Blues. He is just 17 years old however many who meet him and hear his riffs believe a very old soul of a gifted musician resides in the young man.
Local Frequencies debuts this Wednesday, October 28, 2015. For their first guests Bree and Kyle brought in members of their own band. The show and future shows will include live performances from the bands brought. Be sure to catch the show on WRJC - Now92one, and don't worry - if you're not in the station's range you can stream it online.
